Some of our lovely sopranos getting the lowdown on St Giles choir stalls in August 2024. This was during the Edinburgh Festival and the cathedral was packed out with an international audience. We very aptly ended with singing ‘All Over the World’ but our repertoire was very varied and one of the favourites was ‘The Seal Lullaby’ which was written by Eric Whitacre who apparently always wanted to write a Disney style song. So much better than many others! Another beautiful song in our repertoire is ‘O Love’ by Elaine Hagenberg. It brings a tear to a glass eye!
