InChorus was founded in 2008 in Peebles in the Scottish Borders. The community had an strong appetite to form a modern choir singing contemporary music. 97 people turned up to the opening rehearsal and the choir remains over 100 strong today.

The singers represent all ages and backgrounds and joined for many different reasons and in its first three years the choir has transformed from ‘a group of people interested in singing’ into a powerful choir capable of entertaining a broad range of audiences. InChorus has staged a number of popular concerts, performed at The Scottish Parliament, filled Edinburgh’s Festival Theatre and Usher Hall and represented Scotland in New York at the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

All members give freely of their own time to rehearse and perform, many devoting time between rehearsals to learn their songs in groups, and the fabulous spirit of the choir is as strong as its contemporary repertoire. You will find more information in the choir and its ethos throughout this site.
